Description

We now have the pleasure of presenting a piece of illustrious history.

This beautiful and stately home was created with a great feel for architecture and design, and a desire for something truly unique. This place simply cannot be described adequately in words - a warm welcome to discover and let yourself be enchanted by Norra Kyrkogårdsgatan 18!

Curiosity is aroused as soon as you see it from the road. You understand that this is something unlike anything else. The garden with tall trees and bushes on its generous 2,877 sqm gives a well-founded impression of a well-ordered and well-cared-for property, where the grandiose house with its total of 430 sqm holds proud sway. The proportions feel both natural and exciting. Here you gladly take an extra lap around the entire plot before it is time to be welcomed inside. The impressive main entrance is found in the original part of the house on the north side. There is also a separate kitchen entrance to a smaller hall between the kitchen and dining room. You can also enter through the separate guest apartment on the ground floor - or directly from the garage.

Once inside, visiting this beautiful home is a voyage of discovery and pure delight. Now you have the opportunity to call this fantastic place your home!

A brief history of the house and its owners:
The first owner, who was a manager of several works in the area and involved in the construction of the railway, had the beautiful original Art Nouveau house built in 1920. After his death in the 1940s, the house stood empty for more than 10 years - which is why the previously so elegant house came to be known in popular speech as "the haunted house". The new owners carried out a great deal of renovation during the 1950s and 1960s, but it was a local entrepreneur who, in the early 1970s, had the large extension built - in what was then very modern architecture - with an indoor pool, large window sections and a large roof terrace facing Östra Långgatan. The current owner has had the fine property managed, updated and very well cared for. With a gentle hand and an aesthetically trained eye, much of the fine architecture and design that makes the house so unique today has been preserved.

The home has been inspected; the inspection report and energy declaration are linked via the website.
